At PROMOTAG, civic pride and philanthropy is a responsibility shared by all of our professionals.
In 1988, we began The GABRIEL TAMMAN FOUNDATION, an organization dedicated to offering assistance to people in need, regardless of their background or beliefs. Through our actions, we hope to build upon our country's rich history of benevolence and spread a spirit of tolerance, optimism and generosity.
In addition, we have sponsored numerous charitable events and conferences in collaboration with organizations, such as the Protestant Temple of Fusterie, The Natural History Museum and Hautes Etudes Internationales.
We have employed our expertise in the pro-bono redevelopment of properties around the city, including the Great Synagogue of Geneva – which, under the urging of Gabriel Tamman, has recently been granted the status of National Monument.
Gabriel's interest in his homeland also led him to write Geneva Civitas. Published in 1990, this book chronicles the history of Geneva and highlights the streets and properties which contributed to the architectural landscape of this captivating city.
PROMOTAG is part of the GABRIEL TAMMAN GROUP, a private equity investment group based in Geneva, Switzerland and founded in 1983.
For two generations, the Tamman name has been synonymous with the premier standard in property development and ownership. The company offers the vision, financial stability and managerial performance that only the most experienced real estate investors can provide.
Our business strategy is to ensure a strong cash flow with growth potential by constructing new buildings, selecting superior existing properties and refurbishing them to state-of-the-art specifications, and by renting to the finest tenants.
Across continents and cultures, a long-term vision and high standard of quality remained steadfastly at the core of our strategy. Since its inception in 1983, PROMOTAG has developed, repositioned and leased approximately two million square feet of premier commercial, retail and residential property in the CBD of Geneva.
The firm has established a successful track record of producing consistent and growing returns while creating long-term value. In recent years, the Group has sold a number of its properties to institutional investors, utilizing this capital for its geographic diversification and long-term investment strategies.
